International Congress on Information Systems and Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI 2021)
The International Congress on Information Systems and Wirtschaftsinformatik offers academics, practitioners and young professionals the opportunity to inform about current research results. Furthermore, the congress is a forum for the exchange between science and practice and tries to find solutions for the digital change. Under the motto “Innovation through Information Systems – Wirtschaftsinformatik as a future-oriented discipline”, a comprehensive agenda provides impulses for the further development of digital technologies and their effects on individuals, organizations and society. The scientific agenda is supplemented by various formats in which the topic is dealt with in a practice-oriented manner.

Formats
Two contribution formats are offered:
Full papers present completed research work in detail. They may not exceed a maximum of 15 pages (including title, abstract, bibliography, appendices as well as author details and acknowledgements for revised contributions).
Short papers represent current research and development work. They may, but do not have to, reflect a completed research paper. They may not exceed a length of 4 pages (including title, abstract, appendices as well as author details and acknowledgements for revised contributions; exclusive bibliography).
Template
The WI2021 provides a format template. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a LaTex template, since the consideration of the different formats during the production of the conference proceedings generates very high expenditure. All contributions must follow this template. The initial submission will be anonymous. Author names, institutions, funding codes, project names, etc. which can identify the authors must not be used. This information will only be added after the submission has been accepted.Short papers can dispense with the space between abstract/keywords and the contribution text.
Submissions are presented as PDF files.
Review Process
The evaluation process takes place in several stages. After the initial submission, the contributions are roughly reviewed by the Associate Editors. Conformal contributions that do not meet the formal criteria will therefore be rejected promptly via a “Fast and Constructive AE Reject”. The remaining submissions will then be distributed to the reviewers. The reviewers evaluate the contributions according to their quality and decide on further revisions.
Each contribution receives a comprehensive review and recommendations for revision. The revised paper must then be submitted to the conference system by 16/11/2020 together with a response to the reviewers’ comments (e.g. in the form of a synopsis of changes) and will again be reviewed by the AEs before the final decision on acceptance and rejection is made.
Accepted contributions must then be submitted to the conference system in a form suitable for publication (with authors and affiliations).
