O Prof. Sean Siqueira, professor titular do Departamento de Informática Aplicada da UNIRIO, atual coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Informática (PPGI) da UNIRIO, foi palestrante convidado (keynote speaker) da 22nd International Conference on WWW/Internet (ICWI 2023), em conjunto com a 20th International Conference on Applied Computing (AC 2023), onde proferiu a palestra: Back to the Differences: Rethinking Information Search (and Recommendation) on the Web. Na palestra, o Prof. Sean fez um breve resumo da área de Busca e Recomendação na Web, destacando os principais conceitos de Informação, trazendo uma perspectiva de pensamento sistêmico, busca como um processo de aprendizagem e busca para tarefas (task search), trazendo reflexões sobre como podemos repensar as tecnologias atuais de busca para um mundo digital melhor. Prof. Sean Siqueira, full professor at the Department of Applied Informatics at UNIRIO, current coordinator of the Graduate Program in Informatics (PPGI) at UNIRIO, was a keynote speaker at the 22nd International Conference on WWW/Internet (ICWI 2023), joint with the 20th International Conference on Applied Computing (AC 2023), where he gave the lecture: Back to the Differences: Rethinking Information Search (and Recommendation) on the Web.
